~ Achieve clarity about vision, goals, and values ~ Develop mutual understanding and acceptance of differences in personality and gender roles ~ Support each partner being accountable to their identified needs ~ Develop strategies for healthy decision-making ~ Address emotional and compatibility issues ~ Identify and negotiate mutual wants, needs, and goals ~ Build lasting intimacy, trust, communication, love, and fulfillment |
